DESCRIPTION: Contractor/Vendor will replace the fire suppression and alarm systems in selected buildings at Pinnacles National Park (PINN), located in Paicines, CA. The purpose of this project is to upgrade fire protection systems to meet current fire safety codes and standards, ensuring enhanced safety and compliance. The work will include the removal of outdated fire suppression and alarm systems, installation of new systems, and verification of functionality and compliance. The scope of work will encompass the following: (a) Removal and disposal of outdated fire suppression and alarm systems, (b) Installation of new fire sprinkler and fire alarm/detection systems, (c) Ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, National Park Service (NPS) Reference Manual 58 (RM-58), and other relevant codes, (d) Conducting hydrant flow testing and verification of water supply adequacy, and (e) Performing system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality.
