Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Roof replacement for Building 641 at Fort Bliss requires removing and replacing the roof system on the northwest side, including a wood plank deck replacement, installation of self-adhering underlayment, and new asphalt shingles to match the existing roof, installed per the manufacturer’s recommendations. A 30-year manufacturer warranty with 120 mph wind coverage is required. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and related services and complete the work within 120 calendar days after a notice to proceed, delivering everything safely and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Estimated value is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work must comply with ICC, UFC, NFPA 101, ABA, and all local/state/federal regulations, using Unified Facilities Guide Specifications. A wage determination will apply, and the bid guarantee must be at least 20% of the bid price but not exceed $3,000,000, with 100% of the contract price required for performance and payment bonds. An organized site visit will be held, and technical exhibits will be accessible on SAM.gov (no paper copies). Bidders must be SAM registered and maintain current representations and certifications.
