This solicitation is for the Renovation of CMR Basement. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on or about the first week of July 2025. The quotation due date will be set forth in the solicitation. The Government is planning a mandatory site visit and pre-quotation conference. The date for this site visit and conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://sam.gov/content/home prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are required to register prior to the submittal of proposals. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The Embassy will conduct a pre-quotation conference and a mandatory site visit. All prospective offerors who have received a solicitation package will be invited to attend. The pre-quotation conference and site visit will be held on August 12, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. (Philippine local time) with a site visit immediately following.
