This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice. If a solicitation is later released, it will be synopsized in a location to be determined. It is the potential business concerns responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. This effort is to seek qualified potential sources capable of fulfilling the requirements of a/an Remote Weather Observation Station. The Tennessee Army National Guard s Joint Force Headquarters, hereby located in Nashville, TN, has a potential requirement for a/an One (1) standalone, ruggedized remote weather observation station with integrated ceilometer capability. Must operate independently without infrastructure, transmit data via satellite and LTE, and provide real-time meteorological data including visibility, wind, cloud height, and precipitation. Intended for remote deployment with minimal environmental impact. Please see the draft purchase description and salient characteristics outlined in attachment 1. The currently contemplated NAICS code is 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size of 1,350 employees.
