REMODELING B-45 CONFERENCE & BREAK AREAS FT. LEAVENWORTH W91QF4-25-B-A010
Summary
AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025Renovate and expand the B-45 office/conference suite and adjacent break areas at Fort Leavenworth across all three levels. Level 1 expansion adds about 740 SF to the existing office suite (enlarging it to roughly 2,294 SF) and includes new partition walls, ceiling, carpeting, and about 900 SF of added wainscot in the conference area, plus related door and finish changes. Level 3 adds wainscot in two conference rooms and replaces doors/hardware, while all three levels receive six renovated break areas with updated cabinetry, finishes, and lighting; one SCIF-area workspace will be accommodated; two kitchenette sinks are planned with minor plumbing work. The work requires a general contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, coordinating multiple trades with strict adherence to the drawings and specifications, and may involve significant scheduling, cost estimating, and quality-control responsibilities for multiple task orders. The project is anticipated to be in the $500,000 to $1,000,000 range.
Between the two notices, the initial sources-sought market research identified general intent and requested capability and past-performance information from potential bidders (not a solicitation). The subsequent presolicitation confirms a formal procurement path (an Invitation for Bid) and adds specificity: it reiterates the scope with floor-by-floor details, emphasizes multi-trade coordination and schedule/cost control, notes a Beehive renovation context, and requires SAM registration with a UEI. It also imposes additional compliance elements (e.g., SCIF requirements, plumbing for kitchenette sinks) and makes clear this is a formal competition planned through SAM.gov rather than a purely informational request.
