THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS POSTED AT SAM.GOV. THERE ARE NO SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS TO PROVIDE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT AT THIS TIME AS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT. READ CAREFULLY. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. All interested parties should respond. The 182d Airlift Wing of the Illinois Air National Guard intends issue a solicitation and award of a contract for Refuse Service to include a base period of one (1) year and four (4) additional option years. Service includes: 14 refuse containers that are required to have a mimimum capacity of eight (8) cubic yards (emptied weekly); 11 paper containers that are required to have a mimimum capacity of two (2) cubic yards (emptied every other week), and 1 construction dumpster required to have a minimum capacity of twenty (20) cubic yards (emptied on-call). Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Woman-Owned Small Business to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All interested concerns shall respond in writing to Nicholas Marzinzik via email at nicholas.marzinzik@us.af.mil by 18 June. 2025, 12:00 PM CDT. The response shall not exceed five typewritten pages and must include: (1) A completed and signed Sources Sought Response Form (attached to this posting). (2) A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor. (3) A brief outline of key personnel, resources, and subcontractors that would be used to accomplish the contract. (4) A listing of comparable projects completed during the past three years for both government and private industry. Include as part of this listing: type of project, dollar value, location, 'owner' point of contact, contract number, and indicate whether you were prime or subcontractor (provide prime contractor Name/POC if performed as a sub). In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
