The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Pacific District, Contracting Office is conducting market research and is seeking potential sources for contractors to provide Grey Rock and Franklin Red Granite rock to Fort Bliss National Cemetery. See the attached Statement of Need (SON). The NCA wants to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 212319 with size standards of 550 number of employees. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more SDVOSB or VOSB, who are certified on SBA, Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov), can perform the project at a fair and reasonable price, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. 8127. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on SAM.gov and/or GSA eBuy. Fort Bliss National Cemetery Landscape Materials, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantities (IDIQ) -- 9620 The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantities (IDIQ) contract for bulk landscape materials for the Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas. The solicitation is anticipated for release in two weeks from the date of this notice. The solicitation will contain the required technical information and a specified due date and time. Requirement: The contractor will be responsible for the purchase of rock, labor, supervision, transportation, and all necessary equipment to deliver the Franklin Red Crushed Granite Rock and Aggregate Course materials to Fort Bliss National Cemetery. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a mailing list.
