Summary

AI-generated · Aug 23, 2025

The Administrative Office of the United States Courts is seeking information about an equivalent to ReadySuite, a batch conversion tool for discovery data (ESI) that are delivered as image files with metadata. The tool should enable viewing and reviewing in litigation-support software (such as Summation, CaseMap, and TrialDirector) by converting or reformatting image-based discovery (e.g., single-page TIFs) into multi-page documents and support migration or export of large volumes between programs.

Respondents should describe their equivalent product, how it meets or exceeds the ReadySuite specifications, and provide pricing. This is a market research request only; no solicitation exists and responses will not form a proposal or contract. The government may seek clarifications and may request additional information from vendors with unique solutions. The notice also points interested parties to identify themselves as potential sources for planning purposes.

The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AO) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) FOR INFORMATION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. As part of its market research, the Administrative Offices of the U.S. Courts is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an equivalent to the software program stated below. The Government is seeking an equivalent to the ReadySuite product. ReadySuite is an image format and data information batch conversion program. Discovery, also referred to as Electronically Stored Information (ESI) produced in electronic form (CDs, hard drives, etc.) includes but is not limited to, emails, documents, presentations, databases, voicemail, audio and video files, social media, web sites, etc. These are produced as "image files" and its associated metadata often needs to be imported into litigation support software programs (like Summation, CaseMap and TrialDirector) in order for these images to be viewed as logical documents. As an example: discovery is often produced as single page T1F images. A litigation support program can take these single page TIF images, with their associated metadata and present them to an end user as multiple page documents that can then be organized and reviewed. Discovery in this form cannot be properly loaded into the review program without first being converted or reformatted in ReadySuite. ReadySuite converts certain data formats, the import of discovery is either not possible or would be extremely time consuming. ReadySuite can also assist with migrating data between different programs such CaseMap to TrialDirector. The program needs to export large volumes of image files into existing products like casemap and trial director. The AO is seeking information from possible vendors to include Names of interested parties. Please provide company information to include: Name of Company Address Company Point of Contact to include telephone number and email address A government GWAC contract number if applicable SAM UEI number (An offeror must have a UEI number and be registered in the System for Award Management at the time of award.) 2. What is your equivalent product? Provide the specifications of your product and how it is equivalent to ReadySuite. Can it meet the specifications stated in the specifications document? 3. What is the price of your product? All responses need to be sent via email to David Kelley at David_kelley@ao.uscourts.gov. Please submit requested information by 2:00 PM (Eastern) on July 2, 2025. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of market research. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Responses will be used for the purpose of market research to obtain viability of the requirement, estimated pricing, and request comments/suggestions/questions regarding the draft solicitation. Responses to this RFI will not be considered a proposal on which the Judiciary can issue any contracts. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP). All information received in response to this RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Judiciary will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Judiciary to issue an RFP, make an award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry for responses to this RFI. To fully comprehend the information contained within a response to this RFI, there may be a need to seek further clarification from those respondent(s) identified as capable. This clarification may be requested in the form of brief verbal communication by telephone; written communication; electronic communication; or a request for a presentation of the response. The Judiciary reserves the right to seek additional information from those vendors identified with unique solutions that are determined to be beneficial to the Judiciary. Provision 2-1 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (JAN 2003) is applicable to this RFI. See the full text below. The judiciary does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Although "offer" and "offeror" may be used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It will not be used as a proposal. 2.This solicitation is issued for the purpose of market research only. (end)
