Radar Signal Simulator for the H-60 Aircraft in Support of Spanish Armada and Norwegian Defence Material Agency Foreign Military Sales Programs N68335-25-RFI-0402

This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-l(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to solicit and award a Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Symetrics Industries, LLC (dba Extant Aerospace), CAGE 22830, for the purchase of the Simulator, Radar Signal, P/N FT0100-3. This effort is in support of the H-60 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs for the Spanish Armada and Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action. Extant Aerospace, as the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the Radar Signal Simulator, owns the proprietary data and as such is the only source with the knowledge and expertise necessary to manufacture the Simulator. The Government does not have the technical data or equipment to obtain this item from an alternate source. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
