The Department of Veterans Affairs Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 508 Fulton St, Durham, NC 27705 is seeking potential sources capable to provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, quality control, and technical expertise to procure connecting the Clinitek analyzers. The equipment shall be capable of connecting to the hospital s LIS/HIS system through a compatible HL7 interface. The connection must have the capability of a wired connection to the LIS/HIS. Connectivity shall be in accordance with the laboratory standards for data management and quality oversight. The vendor will provide support services, such as technical support for questions and problem resolution within 24-48 hours of request. All work is to be performed in accordance with the guidelines established by Federal, State and local ordinances, with the FDA and manufacturer s guidelines. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541330 Engineering Services. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in applying physical laws and principles of engineering in the design, development, and utilization of machines, materials, instruments, structures, processes, and systems. The assignments undertaken by these establishments may involve any of the following activities: provision of advice, preparation of feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and final plans and designs, provision of technical services during the construction or installation phase, inspection and evaluation of engineering projects, and related services; Small Business Size Standards 25.5 million.
