Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Identify and inventory all equipment at the Kansas City VA Medical Center that must be controlled by lockout/tagout procedures under applicable OSHA and VA guidelines. This on-site field survey is a planning, information-gathering effort (not a bid) to determine capability and scope for a potential future contract; responders must show they can perform the work and provide basic company information and evidence of capability, with a defined response deadline.

Subsequent notices indicate the project is moving from planning to procurement: a future commercial solicitation is planned to award a one-time, on-site field survey under a firm-fixed-price arrangement to inventory LOTO-relevant equipment. A separate solicitation is also in play for the actual development of Lockout/Tagout procedures for the facility, signaling a progression from the survey to deliverable work. Awards information is not yet populated, indicating the procurement is still in the early stages.
