The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (01) New England intends to post a solicitation for the following services on or about June 25th, 2026 (estimate only.) The Office of Veteran Affairs Medical Center Augusta, Maine (TOGUS) requires four (4) Full Time Equivalency (FTE) Phlebotomist/Medical Technician Staff to provide onsite patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws. Staff provided will also perform sample processing and send out preparation. The standard of care shall be of the quality, will meet or exceed currently recognized national standards as established by Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) guidelines. Phlebotomist/Med Tech staff shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government s requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. Period of Performance (PoP): Base + 4 Option Years VA s current intention is for this requirement to be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside.
