Perfusionist services are being sought to provide on-site perfusion and autotransfusion support at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, under RFQ 36C25725Q0468. The contract would include a base period plus four one-year option years and requires Perfusion/Autotransfusion services that meet or exceed the national standards established by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, with work performed on-site at the VA Heart Center. The solicitation includes a Performance Work Statement outlining the required capabilities and standards for a state-of-the-art civilian-level service.

A prior Sources Sought notice was issued to determine the availability and capability of all qualified sources, including small and socio-economic groups, to perform the work. Respondents were asked to submit a tailored capability statement and company details, and to be SAM-registered (with VetCert verification if SDVOSB/VOSB). The notice indicates a potential pre-solicitation synopsis and formal solicitation may follow in SAM.gov, and that responses to the market survey are not bids. No awards have been announced yet for this effort.
