INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE On behalf of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center (Milwaukee VAMC), 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295, the Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with West Allis Fire Department for Community Paramedic Outreach Services that will be provided 24 hours a day / 7 days a week services to Veterans with complex medical, psychological, and social needs intervention in the community through a collaborative community paramedic visit. The Veterans have been identified as especially vulnerable or high utilizers of the Milwaukee VAMC Emergency Department. The Paramedic can assess the Veteran s condition and transport the Veteran to the Milwaukee VAMC is necessary. The West Allis Fire Department is the only emergency response provider to offer 24/7 coverage with its community paramedic program. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. A five-year contract will be awarded for the performance period of August 10, 2025 through August 9, 2030. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621610 Home Health Care Services, with a small business size standard of $19 million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about the services they can provide, as well as references from other customers who are using these services to the Contracting Officer, Brandon.Bennett@va.gov by 10:00 AM (CST) on 06/13/2025. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.
