The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 is seeking sources for the following procurement: Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System Reference Lab Testing; Contractor shall provide reference laboratory services to the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (PLMS) of the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72205.. Purpose and Objectives The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System requires contractors to provide reference laboratory testing service in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW). Contractors shall provide all reference laboratory testing services listed in the Draft SOW, in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, laws, and ordinances, and in accordance with the specifications outlined below for a limited range of referral laboratory services, to include patient testing and courier services, for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (PLMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. Services shall include the performance of analytical testing as defined by the Contractor's reference test manual, and the reporting of analytical test results and consultative services as required to assimilate the scope of its laboratory operations to CAVHS. This is the only information available at this time. All requirements and provisions defined in the specifications of this statement of work will apply to any laboratory, i.e., branch, division, sub-Reference Laboratory, etc. performing reference testing on behalf of the Reference Laboratory. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by FAR 13.501(a).
