Precipitation Sticks for NWS Cooperative Observer Program (COOP) 1305M225Q0186

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), on behalf of the National Weather Service (NWS), is seeking quotations from qualified small business vendors to supply precipitation measuring sticks used in the Cooperative Observer Program (COOP). The Government intends to make an award to the responsive, responsible quoter providing the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). This is a 100% small business set-aside. The requirement is for 450 precipitation measuring sticks, which must meet the specifications outlined in drawing D040-DR001 REV A, including accurate measurement markings in hundredths of an inch, a maximum width of 0.625 inches, and compatibility with standard 8-inch rain gauges. Inspection and Acceptance: The Government will inspect delivered items to confirm conformance with the specifications. Any non-compliant items shall be replaced at the vendor s expense, including return shipping. READ CAREFULLY: Offers that do not address the Instructions to Offerors may be deemed non-compliant. The Department of Commerce (DOC), Eastern Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this office be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
