Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

A one-time buy of 80 power supplies (for the M-D6 Patriot system) is required. The item is restricted to Rantec Power Systems Inc. (Cage 60132) and must be acquired directly from the manufacturer. An engineering source approval is required to maintain part quality, with a need for prequalification of all offerors. The government allows only qualified sources to compete, and the data rights are such that an alternate source must qualify under the design control activity’s procedures. Deliveries are to Fort Bliss; with First Article Testing (FAT), production lead time is 488 days after contract award (with FAT) or 225 days after award without FAT. This is a sole-source scenario to the designated manufacturer, and offers must include current export-control certifications and compliance with the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access export-controlled data.
