This is a sources sought for 1,000 portable A/C units that meet the following salient characteristics: -Portable Air Conditioning Units Cooling Capacity; 6000 - 9000 BTU (SACC DOE) -Cooling Area: 250 sq.ft (Min.) -Current Draw: 10.4A(Max) -Exhaust/vent tube with adjustable window assembly/kit The expected procurement meets the requirements of the Nonmanufacturer Rule (FAR 52.219-33). Ensure you are capable of providing an end item that a small business has manufactured, processed, or produced in the United States or its outlying areas. The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - MCI WEST, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA, has a requirement to provide for 1,000 commercial-grade Portable Air Conditioning Units (PACUs) to support the Consolidated Material Service Center (CMSC). These units will be deployed in single-occupancy dormitory-style billeting spaces for unaccompanied Marines. The anticipated procurement will be a Single-Award Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order contract. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via SAM (www.sam.gov) on or around 18 August 2025. This is not a request for quotations. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside status: N/A The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this project is 333415 (Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,250.
