Summary

Design and fabricate replacement lifting baskets and work bars for TYAD’s plating shop. The project requires new, non-used equipment designed around TYAD’s current baskets and work bars, using TYAD’s available technical drawings as references. The contractor will visit TYAD to inspect the existing setup, take measurements, and gather input from shop personnel, then produce a design that incorporates feasible changes while preserving structural integrity, perform stress/load calculations, and conduct a final design review with TYAD before fabrication. The completed baskets and bars will be delivered within six months of award and will carry a one-year parts-and-labor warranty; TYAD will perform stress testing as a quality check.

This is an information-gathering RFI for a potential Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order. Responses should demonstrate the capability to perform the design and fabrication described in the attached draft Performance Work Statement, including the specified quantities of various basket and bar sizes. Submissions are voluntary and will not bind the government to a future contract, though responses may inform future solicitations. For questions and to submit capabilities, follow the notice’s guidance on the designated contact and deadline.
