Pitney Bowes Parcel Lockers and Software, to include Maintenance FA301625Q6222

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Pitney Bowes (cage code 47486/UEI CHTAKEYGS386), 3001 Summer St, Stanford, CT 06905-4317, for the purchase of parcel lockers, software and annual maintenance requirements for sustainment of the lockers. Currently, the government is utilizing mail meter heads with maintenance directly from Pitney Bowes. The requested lockers will be directly compatible with the existing platforms and systems in place by the government and can only be offered by Pitney Bowes to ensure no degradation of the system in place. Additionally, by procuring Pitney Bowes parcel lockers, there will be little loss of time resulting a learning curve of implementing a new system. The proposed contract action is for supplies with annual maintenance for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Pitney Bowes Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested persons may indentify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement for parcel lockers compatible with Pitney Bowe software and/or interested parties may submit quotes/offers/capability statements. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all quotes/offers for the parcel lockers with the capability of being compatible with Pitney Bowe software received by the closing date and time of this Notice of Intent will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
