PBGC s Board is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform a targeted peer review of the assumptions and methods used by the Pension Insurance Modeling System (PIMS) models to project pension plan contributions. This is a draft Request for Quotation (RFQ) to notify industry of a forthcoming requirement before the final version of the solicitation is released. The RFQ provided herein is subject to change but the final version is anticipated to be substantially similar to this draft. The estimated date of the solicitation release is July 29, 2025. This will be solicited as a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6 and the RFQ shall be issued under FAR part 13 in conjunction with FAR part 12.
