1) INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE: The purpose of this update is to update the solicitation number from N6893625R035 to N6893625Q0077, update the PSC code from 7A21 to J066, and to update the NAICS from 811210 to 541380. The purpose of this sources sought is to conduct market research to determine responsible sources and their size classifications relative to the North America Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 541380 (size standard: $19M) for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Responses to this sources sought will be utilized by the Government to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement and make the appropriate determinations about potential sources. No solicitation is currently available; as such, this is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. A decision to set aside all or part of this requirement is dependent upon a review of the information submitted in response to this sources sought. It includes annual renewal of the Perception Software Maintenance and HBK Assured (Genesis Calibration/Repair). The Naval Air Systems Command, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to procure, on a sole source basis to Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer, Inc (HBK), 19 Bartlett Street Marlborough, MA 01752, for calibration, maintenance, and repair support of the following data acquisition modules: 1-GN8103B, 1-GN840B, 1-GN1640B, 1-GN815, 1-GEN7tA, and 1-GEN17tA. It includes annual renewal of the Perception Software Maintenance and HBK Assured (Genesis Calibration/Repair) to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) workforce. This procurement is sole source in accordance with FAR 6.302.1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The award will be a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (FFP-IDIQ) contract with an ordering period of 4 years.
