Paging System PagingRFI
Summary
AI-generated · Feb 11, 2026Mass notification/paging capability inside base buildings is being sought to support training exercises. The current setup includes Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) v14, Whelan Giant Voice System (WPS-2800) with E1000 encoders, and an analog Bogen PCM-2000 zone paging system. The system supports splitting paging zones for visiting units, paging across single or multiple buildings, and injecting tones or sounds (such as attack warning signals and emergency notifications). All parts must be DoD Approved Products Listing and TAA compliant, and fiber optic cable is used for signal routing.
The Bogen PCM2000 is a modular paging/control system that connects to loop start and ground start trunks, PBX or KEY paging ports with DTMF capability, and analog T/R lines. Operation requires a 12V DC power supply and it can provide up to 250W of amplifier power; it is designed for wall mounting and is FCC Part 68 registered. A site survey will be offered at the MS CRTC in Gulfport; attendees must register, with details provided in the notice.
