Sources Sought W58RGZ-26-R-0042 OVERHAUL/UPGRADE OF THE GEARBOX, ACCESSORY DRIVE FOR THE UH-60 BLACK HAWK INTRODUCTION: The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (W58RGZ) ATTN: CCAM- ALB, Building 5303, Martin Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 (US) is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide Upgrade and overhaul of the Accessory Drive Gearbox. The resulting contract will be a 5-YEAR, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, firm fixed-price contract with a MIN/MAX 70/250 (FMS QTY 32). SOURCE(S) UNIQUE QUALIFICATIONS TO PROVIDE THIS PART: DMWR 1-1615-374, dated 05/30/2018 has been identified for this effort; however, the Gearbox, Accessory Drive is an aviation Critical Safety Item (CSI) as defined by DFARS 209.270-2. As such, the upgrade/overhaul can only be performed by a source approved by the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). Currently, the only known approved source for the Gearbox, Accessory Drive is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Large Business), CAGE (78286). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation or questions to the following address: usarmy.redstone.ccdc- avmc.mbx.ed-sar@army.mil.
