The Embassy of the United States in Rabat, Morocco, will release a solicitation for the insurance for various official vehicles owned by the U.S Embassy, Rabat. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Rabat, Morocco, will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable lowest price offer. We are using procedures outlined in FAR Part 15. We intend to award the contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions if deemed to be in the interest of the United State government with companies in the competitive range. The resultant contract will be an an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), fixed price type contract with an economic price adjustment. The Government is planning to hold a pre-proposal conference, and the date will be specified in the solicitation. Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
