Notification of the SEC’s intent to award a single source purchase order for print legal publications 50310225Q0095

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to West Publishing Corporation for print legal publications. The publications include federal and state legal information, statutes and administrative rules and regulations, handbooks, reporters, treatises and loose-leaf update services. The Contracting Officer has reviewed the requirement and determined that West Publishing Corporation is the only source that can meet the SEC s requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) because the required publications are under copyright and not available from other sources. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to West Publishing Corporation on or about August 25, 2025. The total award value of the purchase order will be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and the period of performance of the purchase order will be for 12 months. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
