NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD. Army Contracting Command (ACC) U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) awarded a sole-source purchase order to JEOL USA, Inc. (CAGE 51043), for the acquisition of a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). A justification and approval (J&A) for other than full and open competition was executed pursuant to the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 1901(e)(2) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial products. A firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order valued at $364,547.00 was awarded on 25 AUG 2025.
