Notice of Intent to Sole Source to UNICOR FPI F6Q5IG5121AW01

The 188th Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR), 3301 Leestown, Rd, Lexington, KY 40511, to provide 12 height adjustable desks with chairs to match existing office furniture in the area of the requirement in building 237. This special notice is IAW FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supply/service will satisfy agancy requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers and is being posted for at least thirty (30) days IAW FAR 6.305. No solicitation package will be available. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All qualified sources must respond no later than 11:00 AM CST, 2 August 2025. A determination by the Government not to compete this prposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
