Notice of Intent to Sole Source the National Student Clearinghouse Data for Undergraduate and Graduate Student Information 49100425Q0059

Pursuant to (FAR) 13.106-1(b), The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Directorate for STEM Education (EDU) intend to negotiate a sole source purchase order with the National Student Clearinghouse for Student Data Collection. The Clearinghouse provides a nationwide, central repository for student record data for postsecondary educational institutions that have appointed the Clearinghouse as a school official for purposes of reporting the enrollment and educational achievements of their students to authorized recipients, pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ) (specifically, 34 CFR 99.31(a)). The National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) is the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
