To maintain the warranty for these Omnicell Dispensing Cabinets, which have recently been purchased via lease buyout, Omnicell requires that only Omnicell software be installed on their products. Service software security updates and other software updates can only be supplied by the manufacturer. This service agreement is necessary to ensure the continuity of services without interruption in order to provide direct patient care in accordance with Accreditation standards and to minimize the risk of an unanticipated failure or security issue. The support service agreement will include preventive maintenance according to manufacturer s recommendations, troubleshooting, service requests, providing original manufacturer s replacement parts, and phone support. Period of Performance is for one base year plus four option years, as follows: Base Year: 1/01/2026 12/31/2026 1st Option Year: 01/01/2027 12/31/2027 2nd Option Year: 01/01/2028 12/31/2028 3rd Option Year: 01/01/2029 12/31/2029 4th Option Year: 01/01/2030 12/31/2030 The estimated total value is below the simplified acquisition threshold. The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements and is based on market research. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of agency.
