Notice of Intent to Sole Source: STERIS VHP Calibration and Certification W911S626STERIS

The U.S. Army, Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole-source service contract for Steris Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) 1000-ARD Calibration and Certification to support the operations of the Chemical Biology Center-DPG pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary Overhaul FAR 6.103-1 and FAR 12.102(a) to: STERIS Corporation, 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060-1834 UEI: UGGQJGGH6846 CAGE: 0NWN1 The objective of this sole source award is to procure preventative maintenance, calibration and repair services for two (2) STERIS model ARD-120 Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) 1000 sterilizer units. The required services include annual inspection, cleaning, preventative maintenance, parts replacement, system calibration, and the issuance of a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable certification. STERIS Corporation utilizes proprietary diagnostic software to perform the system calibration and is only available to STERIS-certified technicians.
