Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Select Fabricators Inc. FA4407RFTENTS

The 375th Contracting Squadron (CONS) intends to solicit and award a Purchase Order, in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, to Select Fabricators Inc., Victor, NY, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The 375 CONS anticipates the award of a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Select Fabricators Inc. for 27 customized Radio Frequency (RF) Shielded Tents to support Air Mobility Command (AMC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Force Elements (FE) by housing the AMC s deployable communications solutions. The 27 RF Shielded Tents will be Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (TSCIF) compliant, portable and lightweight. They shall be capable of housing and protection communication media emissions of multi-domain (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS) equipment. Select Fabricators Inc. provided 17 customized RF Shielded Tents to AMC in 2024. To remain consistent with standardization efforts, only Select Fabricators Inc. can provide these 27 customized tents to the unique specification required. The Purchase Order will include a firm fixed price contract. A Justification and Approval (J&A) document is currently being worked through the approval process and will be posted once approved. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, any information received from any organization before 1:00 PM E.T., Monday, July 22, 2025, that believes it can meet this requirement will be considered by the Government for a competitive procurement action.
