Summary

AI-generated · Mar 10, 2026

Procurement is for Roche COBAS 5800 reagents, controls, and consumables, including a newly added diagnostic test to the lab’s portfolio. The COBAS 5800 platform is proprietary to Roche, and these reagents and consumables cannot be interchanged with other manufacturers’ instruments or materials. Reagents must be compatible with the lab’s current laboratory information system.

Because the items are proprietary and only one source is reasonably available, the purchase will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (non-competitive), with no competitive solicitation issued. Comments regarding the posting may be submitted to the appropriate contracting office as indicated in the notice.

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
