The Department of Defense (DoD) Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), the Contracting Activity, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, Security Evaluation Division, the Requiring Activity, to Rozin Security Consulting, LLC, 1941 Irving Ave., S. Minneapolis, MN 55403-2858. (SAM Unique Entity ID: E4W5CFV3CDF3; CAGE: 79LJ9). In order to meet the Government s mission to test security capabilities, maintain a high state of security readiness, and promote a threat-conscious workforce, the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Security Evaluation Division (SED) requires procurement of specialized Red Team Security Training (with a period of performance within 30 days of award) designed to equip PFPA security professionals with skills and knowledge to plan and execute effective Red Team Assessments. Salient characteristics of the 5-day (consecutive) in-person and on-site (at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA) training of 15 students includes the following current theoretical and practical methods for conducting quality Red Teams. This is a new requirement under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii) under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
