(CAGE:3F4D9). The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be from approximately 18 September 2025 through 17 September 2026, with three (3) option years extending through September 2029. INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Support Agreement for Amada Fiber Laser Cutter and Laser/Turret Punch System, including the primary machines, nitrogen generators, MARS material handling systems, loading and unloading systems and all ancillary equipment for machine function at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) in Bremerton, WA. in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and OEM recommended maintenance plan. Amada America, Inc. is the OEM of the Fiber Laser System and Laser/Turret Punch system and has the proprietary knowledge and expertise to work on this equipment. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Business Size Standard of $12,500,000. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 25 July 2025 at 1200 PM Pacific Time. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with subject line stating - RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A25RC08581. A determination, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. PSNS and IMF Contracting Office (Code 400) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for the award. All documents submitted will not be returned.
