NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction of the Power Generation and Microgrid project at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Relays, Controllers, and networking equipment: Model numbers SEL-487B, SEL-551C, SEL-700GT, SEL-735, SEL-700GT+, SEL-ICON, SEL-3620, SEL-2730M, and SEL-2240. The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Relays, Controllers, and networking equipment. Wrtsil Corporation (Wrtsil) Generator(s): One (1) 10.368 MW or two (2) 9.000 MW. The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for Wrtsil natural gas fired Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) generators. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 2:00 PM ET on 11 July 2025 to Jacob Pridemore at Jacob.s.pridemore@usace.army.mil.
