Summary

AI-generated · Aug 28, 2025

AIM V MED CTS 1000ml, DYNABEADS CD3/CD28 CTS 10 ML, HEPES, and RPMI 1640 100ML are required for the Center for Cellular Engineering to manufacture patient cell-based therapies. These materials have been validated for manufacturing and approved by the Center’s Quality Assurance Department; although other sources exist, only Life Technologies Corporation has been approved for use in current manufacturing protocols, so substituting suppliers would require requalification of processes, which would be costly and time-consuming for the government.

This procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)) because only one source is reasonably available. No solicitation or quotations will be issued. The government may decide not to compete based on responses. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to supply these materials by submitting information prior to the closing date specified in the announcement.
