Notice of Intent to Sole Source Iridium Satellite Collars with Video SS1157895

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to issue a noncompetitive contract to Lotek Wireless Inc, 115 Pony DR, Newmarket, On, L3Y 7B5, Canada. The contract is for the purchase of 20 Lotek LITETRACK IR CAM S+ Iridium Satellite collars with video cameras. See attached justification for sole source under simplified procedures for certain commercial items (FAR 13.5). The Government contemplates the award of a one-time, firm fixed price, commercial purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm CST on September 1, 2025. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents should ensure the information provided is detailed, current, accurate, and complete. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 334290 with a small business size standard of 800 employees.
