Notice of Intent to Sole Source Hibbs Range Target Repair and Upgrade 0123201

The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Fort Benning on behalf of the United States Army Marksmanship Unit, intends to execute a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis for the repair and upgrade of the Target System at Fort Benning, Georgia. The basic service objective is to replace the existing frames with approximately 90-fioot galvanized parallel tube frames for each of the four running targets. The trolleys will be provided with eight urethane sealed ball bearing wheels in an opposed configuration entrapping the rails, allowing for smooth, quiet and stable movement. The existing DC motors and drives with servo-based controls will be replaced. The service is vital to both the mission success and the success of the organization in serving the customer accurately. Devore Designs has proprietary software for the operation of the target system required for this specific shooting discipline. Devore Designs is able to meet timeline for starting and finishing project in order for the US Army and USAMU to begin the 2025 Interservice Competition on Ft. Benning, GA The Government projects award for July 1, 2025. This notice is valid until 26 June 2025, 12:00 PM EST and is NOT a Request for Proposals. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information provided. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The NAICS code is 541330, and the size standard is $25.5 Million. This announcement is in accordance with 5.202 (a)(13).
