Notice of Intent To Sole Source - HAAS CNC Mill/Lathe Software FA442725Q1121

The 60th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Phillips Corporation Inc. for the acquisition of software and training for a Haas CNC Machine. This software is a critical component for the 60th MXS to be able to use the Haas CNC Machines on Travis AFB, CA. Phillips Corporation Inc. is the sole and exexclusive distributor of Haas CNC Machine Tools and any associated factory certified service, training and applications work for United Sates Government facilities. This includes any factory certified service related contracts, maintenance agreements, training and applications work on Haas equipment. Haas CNC machines and components (collectively, "Haas Products") are warranted by manufacturer against defects in material and workmanship. All out of warranty repair parts carry a warranty, provided the repair is performed by a Haas Certified Technician. Only repairs performed by Haas Certified technicians will be warranted. The 60th Contracting Sqadron conducted market reasearch and confirmed that Phillips Corporation Inc. is the sole and exexclusive distributor of Haas CNC Machine Tools and any associated factory certified service, training and applications. We also considered the posibility of using different software but determined that there were no alternate software solutions that would meet the need. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements described above are invited to submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation demonstrating their ability to provide the required software license and support. Responses must be received no later than 1 August 2025 1200 PST and should be submitted electronically to the POCs listed below. All responses received will be reviewed; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
