NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – GROUT COMPOUND – CROSSFIELD PRODUCTS CORP., DEX-O-TEX DIVISION N0040626Q04

Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit on a sole-source basis for Grout Compound manufactured by Crossfield Products Corp., Dex-O-Tex Division, for use in ship deck coating applications. This requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Crossfield Products Corp., Dex-O-Tex Division, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The required coating materials must conform to MIL-PRF-24613 and be supplied by an authorized manufacturer identified on QPL-24613. The required coating materials are proprietary to Crossfield Products Corp., Dex-O-Tex Division. The OEM controls the product formulation, composition, and associated hazardous material information, including the applicable Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Due to the requirement to comply with MIL-PRF-24613 and QPL-24613, only materials meeting the required qualification and technical requirements will be considered acceptable. Interested entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any responses received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with RFO 12.203. The Government will select the most advantageous offer based on the following evaluation factors: technical acceptability, including delivery date; price; and past performance, in no order of relative importance.
