NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICANS SERVICES DZHC-NOI-25-004

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Shiprock Service Unit, Northern Navajo Medical Center, intends to make a sole source award to The University of Utah Global Health Fellows to provide the resources to satisfy the requirement for Emergency Medicine Physician Services. The Period of Performance will be for twelve (12) continuous months beginning from the Date of Award with a Base Year plus four (4) Option Years. This award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement, 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The Contractor, University of Utah Global Health Fellows, is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services of providing emergency medicine physician services for Northern Navajo Medical Center Emergency Department. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 03:00 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) on July 7, 2025, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses should be received by the deadline stated above.
