THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. Program Manager Ground Based Air Defense (PM GBAD) within Program Executive Officer, Land Systems Marine Corps intends to negotiate and award on a sole-source basis in accordance with 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3204 (a)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1(c)(2) to Raytheon Company, 6260 Guardian Gateway Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1300 for the hardware and software life cycle management support of the AN/TPX?61(V)3 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogator in support of the PM GBAD Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) program. The AN/TPX-61(V)3 provides the existing IFF interrogator capability as part of the MADIS product baseline. Raytheon Company is the original designer, developer, and producer of the AN/TPX?61(V)3 IFF interrogator and the hardware and software life cycle management support cannot be procured from any other source. The Government anticipates award of a hybrid Cost Reimbursement / Firm-Fixed-Price contract, with a period of performance of one year with four option years. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.103-1(c)(2) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is not a request for competitive quotes. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 12:00pm Eastern Daylight Time on 16 March 2026. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions shall become Government property and will not be returned.
