The U.S. Government intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Columbus Technical College in support of Muscogee County School District for JROTC Cadet Leadership (JCLC) Medical STEM Experience in Columbus, GA with a period of performance from 1 - 5 June 2026. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement of these services is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 12.102(a) (DFARS CD 2026-O0028). However, the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Knox is seeking vendors that may be capable of performing these services in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested businesses (small and large) to respond to this notice. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if two (2) or more small businesses do not respond with information to support a set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantaged Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns) to identify their capabilities in meething the requirement at a fair market price. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future.
