Notice of Intent to Sole Source 001229811

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for land and weapons reference portfolio module of military weapons systems under development, in production, and in service around the world for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, Jane Group UK Limited, databases are proprietary information, which provides a complete tri-service, joint and strategic reference portfolio of military weapons systems and is the only source of the needed data collected into one location. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
