NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - SICPA Securink, Inc. Inks The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) on behalf of the Production Materials Department intends to award a Single-Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price contract for a specialized ink that will include a feature for the authentication of U.S. currency on Federal Reserve Bank's (FRB) high speed currency processing systems utilizing a Justification and Approval in accordance with FAR subpart 6.302-l(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B). The intended contractor SICPA Securink, Inc. The inks will be used in the manufacture of U.S. currency and other U.S. security products at the BEP ECF and WCF facilities and for use in test printing related to change management and continuous improvement efforts. Procured security inks must meet specifications to produce banknotes acceptable to the Federal Reserve Board. The inks must be compatible with BEP Simultan offset presses, work in concert with U.S. Currency Program (USCP) sensors, and meet quality, environmental ealth and safety, security, transportation, manufacturing, and accountability requirements. Inks must also meet the specialized USCP Catalyst Family Design (CFD) requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
