INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Crownpoint Healthcare Facility located in Crownpoint, New Mexico intends to award a non-competitive, sole source, firm fixed priced purchase order with MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC POWER PRODUCTS, INC (MEPPI), 530 KEYSTONE DRIVE, WARRENDALE, PA 15086 for the purchase of 80 universal power supply batteries. The anticipated Delivery Date is 15 days or less after award. Crownpoint Healthcare Facility currently owns all UPS equipment stored in the UPS room. The applicable Norther American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 335999 - All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing with a Size standards in number of employees of 600. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Information collected from this notice is purely for market research only and will be used to determine the contracting office s acquisition strategy including competition, set asides, and locating Indian-owned economic enterprises.
