Summary

AI-generated · Apr 02, 2026

The government is seeking to secure a medical office space in Clifton Park, NY to succeed an existing Veterans Health Administration lease, and will award using a sole-source, noncompetitive process (FAR 6.302-1). Alternative space will be considered if it’s economically advantageous, taking into account relocation costs and any required tenant improvements or telecom infrastructure. A formal solicitation is not issued, and responses to this notice will be evaluated, with the final decision to proceed non-competitive resting solely with the government.

Required space details include up to 6,810 rentable/usable square feet of medical office space, ADA compliant, with 19 on-site parking spaces (17 surface, 2 reserved), and located within a delineated area defined by surrounding counties. The lease term is 10 years (firm 5 years, soft 5 years). To demonstrate capability, interested parties must provide the building name and address, RSF/NUSF and conversion rate, proof of ownership and written permission for brokers/representatives, and the amount of on-site parking. If no responsive proposals are received, the government may proceed with sole-source acquisition.

Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition The U.S. Government intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the Veterans Heath Administration (VHA) that is expiring in Clifton Park, NY. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS Code 531120 applies to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, the Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
