NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH ZITEC, INC. The Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), Directorate of Contracting, Homestead Air Reserve Base, Homestead, Florida, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 335312 Motor and Generator Manufacturing. The following items will be purchased: MPCU Plus P/N Z360P-220-1; Qty: 1 MHU-110 Wooden Rail Set P/N 8457780 Rev C; Qty 7 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer below not later than September 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
