THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Healthcare Contracting Division Northeast (HCD-NE), on behalf of 31st MDG Airforce Base, Aviano Italy, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Lifeward Inc (CAGE: 6TH27) 200 Donald Lynch Blvd, Marlborough, MA 01752 USA The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The contract is intended for the procurement of the AlterG Neo+ treadmill, an anti-gravity treadmill that can assists with meeting post-surgical and post injury rehabilitation for injuries in patients and others that are unable to tolerate full body weight. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
